Job summary

• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking, and perimeter to identify/report hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor/employee/contractor entry procedures per site requirements.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Clearance Required Patrol Operations in Carrollton, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol an aerospace and defense location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, support access control activities, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and promptly communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Preferred: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Preferred: Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
