Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver with Active Clearance in McKinney, TX. You will protect clients across aerospace/defense sectors, conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds (preferred).
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Criminal histories considered as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, observing and reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and reporting access-control discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs related to patrols, incidents, access-control activities, and other security-related matters.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
