Allied Universal® is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Entry Checkpoint Driver) in Lebanon, IN. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and provide exceptional customer service across commercial real estate sites.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and offers a flexible schedule with day shifts. You will use access control systems, patrol duties, and escalation procedures to maintain safety and security while supporting tenants and staff.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, visitor registrations, and contractor authorization; maintain entry/exit records.
• Operate access control systems and issue/ recover visitor badges and credentials.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns calmly following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property, report unusual activity or facility concerns.

Responsibilities

• Operate access control systems, issue and recover visitor badges and credentials, and report access concerns or equipment issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial property, including business areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
