Job summary

Allied Universal in Lebanon, IN is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer - Access Point Driver. You will safeguard premises, monitor entry points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents while providing courteous service to tenants and visitors.

This role requires a valid driver's license, 18+ (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma, and a willingness to work weekend shifts. CPR is preferred. Flexible schedule via our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, issue credentials, and maintain visitor records.
• Control access to restricted areas per site requirements and report concerns.
• Respond calmly to incidents following security procedures.
• Conduct patrols of the property to deter unauthorized activity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, issue and collect access credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Control access to restricted areas in accordance with site requirements and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial property, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
