Qualifications

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and manage access to the commercial property by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing temporary access badges, and maintaining accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unauthorized access, hazards, and/or unusual activity.
• Operate access-control and visitor-management systems, communicate professionally with building personnel, and document daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
