Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Bryan, TX to patrol a retail location, maintain a visible presence, and deliver customer service while holding a Level III Armed Certification. The role requires a valid driver’s license, armed certification, and compliance with policy.

It is full-time with daytime shifts and a pay rate of $17.25 per hour; training and growth opportunities are provided by Allied

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• An Armed Guard Card and/or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, exterior, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Bryan, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol a retail location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service.
