Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks an Armed Driver Patrol Officer in Houston, TX. You will protect clients across various industries, performing armed patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, Level III Armed Certification (TX), and being at least 21 years old.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable armed post procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail store areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report suspicious conditions, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Operations in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Deliver exceptional service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s caring, reliable approach.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
