Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Brookshire, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and uphold Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail grocery location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, unauthorized access, and policy violations, and document observations and incidents in required reports.
• Maintain required armed credentials and carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
