Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM
• Wed 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, enforce visitor and contractor entry procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and other required equipment, following Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
