Qualifications

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background screening required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and facility conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
