Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Tomball, TX. This role offers fixed hours with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform. As a Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Tomball, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, monitoring visitor and vehicle activity, and documenting observations in required reports.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal policies, site requirements, applicable laws, and required training.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
