As a Security Officer Access Verification in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while assisting with a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and employee entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities through required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
