Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Customer service experience, preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, badge verification, and access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow emergency procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation and communicate observations to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Part Time Access Control in Austin, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

DayTimeSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
