Allied Universal, Fort Worth-based security leader, is seeking a Security Officer Access Point Attendant to safeguard patients, staff and visitors at a healthcare location. You will manage access points, verify credentials, and enforce site policies with professionalism.

This role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and calm handling of incidents. A background check and drug screen are required, and a high school diploma is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• CPR and First Aid experience and CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and manage entry/exit points, verify credentials, and maintain access records.
• Respond to access-related incidents calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, restricted areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors and report observations.

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare-related location.
• Monitor and manage entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, restricted locations, parking areas, and the business perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors, report security-related observations, and support a professional, orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
