Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX, to protect clients across industries. You will perform access control, patrols, and customer service, using technology to document incidents while upholding safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and delivery personnel, and documenting entries, exits, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while maintaining professional communication with site personnel.

What You'll Do

• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and delivery personnel, and documenting entries, exits, and incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while maintaining professional communication with site personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
