Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Portal in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to a food and beverage production location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing employees, contractors, and delivery personnel according to site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, receiving areas, employee entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and document access-related incidents, observations, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
