Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Patrol Access Checkpoint) in Fort Worth, TX. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support access control while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers a flexible Part-Time schedule with pay at $21.00 per hour. You will communicate with employees and visitors, document incidents, and use computer or tablet technology as needed, joining a team that values care, integrity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and delivery personnel, and documenting entries, exits, and incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while maintaining professional communication with site personnel.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
