Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Access Operations in Sioux City, IA. This part-time enhanced role offers reliable hours with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $18.91 per hour. Responsibilities include access control, monitoring entry points, and providing courteous customer service to clients, visitors, and employees.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• 18+ years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access‑related logs and documentation.
• Control access for employees, contractors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements, including restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, access‑related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other designated areas to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Access Operations in Sioux City, IA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
