Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property personnel while enforcing site-specific security and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain access logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property including entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas.
• Complete required reports and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial property, including entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and access-related concerns to appropriate personnel and complete required reports in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
