Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and building management by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and policies.
• Monitor entry points and control access to facilities by verifying credentials, issuing passes, and maintaining logs.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and report security concerns.
• Communicate professionally with occupants and authorized personnel to maintain a welcoming environment.

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Dade City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist visitors, tenants, and employees with professionalism. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or building management by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry points and control access to commercial real estate facilities by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate access logs.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned building areas, entryways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with building occupants and authorized personnel while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
