Responsibilities

• Screen incoming deliveries and outbound shipments, coordinating with loading, warehouse, and production areas.
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate relevant information to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, parking, perimeter and restricted-access points to deter unauthorized activity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Screen incoming deliveries and outbound shipments in accordance with site procedures, coordinating with designated personnel regarding access to loading, warehouse, and production areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and restricted-access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
