Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and guests by following site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor authorization, document arrivals and departures, and report access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct patrols of residential areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain daily activity reports and incident documentation.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Access Operations in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor access, managing badges and credentials, and communicating professionally with residents, guests, and staff. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or guests by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, document arrivals and departures, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and promptly report security-related observations and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
