Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time security professional to provide customer service and enforce site policies at a manufacturing facility in Marion, IN. You will patrol premises, verify access, and respond to incidents while documenting activities.

The role requires 18+ years for unarmed posts and may involve background checks and drug screening. Hours include Friday overnight and Sunday evening shifts with a pay rate of $15.23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly work environment by following site rules, reporting hazards or damaged property, and supporting access control procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
