This full-time role pays $15.24 per hour with day and night shifts. Prior badge access experience and alarm panel familiarity are preferred, and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Verify authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian activity and communicate security issues per established protocols.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Patrol in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while responding to alarms and maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, access points, trailers, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian activity around the location and communicate security-related issues according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
