Allied Universal in Memphis, TN is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Care to safeguard clients across logistics facilities. You will patrol, monitor access points, and deliver courteous service while documenting activity.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.

• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws; may be required.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Care in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the logistics facility, loading docks, trailer yard, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and visitor or vehicle activity through required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
