Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while following site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, issue badges, and maintain logs.
• Respond to alarms and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Monitor badge readers, cameras, and alarm panels and report issues.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, lobby, parking areas, and perimeter.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 09:00 PM - 05:30 AM
• Wed: 09:00 PM - 05:30 AM
• Thur: 09:00 PM - 05:30 AM
• Fri: 09:00 PM - 05:30 AM
• Sat: 09:00 PM - 05:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-control logs and records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Monitor security-related systems such as badge readers, cameras, and alarm panels, and report equipment issues or irregular activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, lobby areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
