Allied Universal in Normandy, MO is hiring a Security Officer Access Control to monitor, protect, and assist at a financial services location. This full-time role offers a consistent evening schedule and pay rate of $18.75 per hour.

You will handle access control, patrol interior and exterior areas, respond to alarms, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors. Minimum 1 year security experience and HS diploma required; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location while carrying out site‑specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify and report unusual activity or security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, directing individuals to appropriate areas and reporting access concerns to designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security‑related observations through required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
