Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Exterior Patrol in Saint Louis, MO. You will provide customer service and security for a financial institution, patrolling areas, monitoring access, and reporting incidents.

This full-time role requires 2+ years security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and compliance with background checks and drug screening. You will work a 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM schedule on weekdays, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Complete required logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence that helps deter unwanted activity.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
