Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a part-time Security Officer Licensed Patrol Services in Normandy, MO. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, assist with access control, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding safety standards.

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. A license is preferred; minimum one year security experience and a high school diploma are required, with background checks and drug screening

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and activities through required reports and/or notifications.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business location, including entrances, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures; maintain professional interactions and direct individuals as needed.
• Document incidents, patrols, and security-related observations accurately and promptly while following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:
