Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company in North America, is hiring a Security Officer Access Control in Spanish Fork, UT. You will serve clients, monitor access points, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

This full-time role offers pay at $19.50 per hour, regular daytime shifts, and opportunities for customer service growth, smart tool access, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the retail location, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report suspicious behavior and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify site contacts and responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate with Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Access Control in Spanish Fork, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet tools as needed, you will help create a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Tue 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Wed 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Thur 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Fri 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the retail location, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
