Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Access Control in Spanish Fork, Utah. This full-time position involves safeguarding clients across Retail/Malls and other sectors, with a focus on access control, customer service, and incident response.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the retail location, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior and policy violations to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with leadership and site personnel.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control in Spanish Fork, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet tools as needed, you will help create a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
