Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Assistance in Seattle, WA. You will monitor the site, deter incidents, and assist with access control while delivering excellent customer service.

PositionType: Full Time. Pay Rate: $23.74 per hour. Shift schedule includes DayTime and weekend coverage. Join a team focused on safety, integrity, and community service across retail locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local rules.
• Age requirement: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including entrances, dining areas, exterior walkways, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within and around the location, reporting suspicious conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Support a welcoming retail environment by providing directions, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and documenting incidents according to site procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Assistance in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
