Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol in West Valley City, Utah. You will monitor and protect client sites, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver courteous service to students, staff and visitors on a dynamic campus location.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and follow site policies while upholding our commitment to safety, integrity, and teamwork. Full-time schedule with competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required and conducted per laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
