As a Security Officer - Patrol - Delivery Operations in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thurs 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and documenting visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Maintain awareness of changing conditions throughout the location and communicate observations, concerns, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
