Mohegan Sun is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to protect guests and team members, patrol the casino floor, and safeguard assets. This role requires clear reporting, calm decision-making, and the ability to respond quickly to incidents.

Candidates should hold a high school diploma, be capable of writing detailed reports, and possess strong communication skills. CPR/First Aid training is required, with shifts that may include evenings and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Protects patrons and employees, patrols for illegal and unusual situations, and safeguards the company’s assets.
• Escorts money and chip credits from booths to Master Bank and Chip fills.
• Performs table and Bill Validator drops.
• Investigates and records all unusual occurrences and incidents within the gaming facility.
• Detains persons involved in illegal activities and notifies law enforcement authorities.
• Responds to complaints, ejections, medical and assistance calls and accurately acquire all pertinent information needed for reporting purposes.
• Checks IDs for underage patrons.
• Performs cards and dice pick-up and distribution for the casino.
• Accurately stores and distributes all lost and found articles, accurately prepares necessary forms and updates the log book.
• Works in the Lost Guest Booth and Security Dispatch, as needed.

Position Summary

Minimum Education and Qualifications

Competencies

• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to respond to emergencies in an expedited manner

Training Requirements

• CPR, First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogen certification
• SMART alcohol awareness

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to respond to emergency situations in an expedited manner
• Possible exposure to unknown health and safety hazards and physical altercation
• Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
