Job summary

Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs is seeking a Security Officer responsible for protecting patrons and employees, patrolling for illegal and unusual situations, and safeguarding assets. You will escort money, perform table and Bill Validator drops, and investigate incidents across the casino floor.

Responsibilities include detaining offenders, responding to emergencies, checking IDs, and assisting with card/dice operations, lost and found, and security dispatch tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to write detailed reports clearly and concisely.
• CPR, First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogen certification required.

Responsibilities

• Protect patrons and employees, patrol for illegal and unusual activities.
• Escort money and chip credits to Master Bank and Chip fills.
• Perform table and Bill Validator drops.
• Investigate and document unusual incidents within the casino.
• Detain individuals involved in illegal activities and coordinate with law enforcement.
• Respond to complaints, ejections, medical and assistance calls with factual reporting.
• Check IDs for underage patrons.
• Assist with cards and dice distribution and security duties as needed.
• Manage lost and found articles and related logs.
• Work in Lost Guest Booth and Security Dispatch as required.
