Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests, associates, and property across Hyatt properties. You will patrol indoor and outdoor areas, conduct floor patrols and crowd control, and respond to guest concerns with urgency.

The role requires reporting incidents, investigating suspicious activity, and enforcing safety policies. Candidates should have prior hotel experience and CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience is recommended.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property including outside on a regular basis.
• Conduct regular floor patrols, property tours and crowd control.
• Respond to guest complaints and investigate to remedy the situation with urgency.
• Search for and report unusual circumstances, safety violations, destruction and/or suspicious persons and escort off property if necessary.
• Complete security reports on a daily log including incidents of theft, accidents and safety violations.
• Maintain safety, security and emergency procedures and respond to alarms or calls for help; perform first aid as needed.
• Conduct investigations of security incidents.
• Enforce the No Solicitation Policy of the property.
• Preserve safety and security of guests, team members, OSHA compliance, and adherence to standards
• Follow property and corporate guidelines to protect guests and staff, secure assets, and minimize liability.
