Job summary

Hyatt is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests and property at a Grand Hyatt Deer Valley-style setting in Utah. You will monitor areas, respond to incidents and document events with professionalism and guest hospitality in mind.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver License and clean driving record.
• A true desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid CPR and first aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Certification in an alcohol awareness program or ability to obtain one.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is in the famed Deer Valley ski resort and approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for hotel guests, employees, and property. This position follows established safety and security procedures, responds to incidents, monitors hotel areas, and completes accurate incident reports as required. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to exceptional guest service.
