Job summary

Hard Rock Biloxi is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests, employees and the property. This role involves incident reporting, escorting and monitoring individuals to ensure safety, and supporting emergency response operations.

The ideal candidate will maintain a professional image, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work a flexible schedule. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and the ability to handle high-stress situations are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assists with written reports on incidents involving guests, employees or property.
• Escorts and monitors guests and staff for safety and protection.
• Identifies hazards and reports for resolution.
• Is aware of hazardous materials and related laws.
• Acts as dispatcher during emergencies and coordinates solutions.
• Notifies outside agencies of suspicious activity on property.
• Operates company vehicles as directed.
• Ensures safe transport of company monies and gaming tokens.
• Assists in opening/closing gaming tables.
• Maintains high guest service levels and embodies Hard Rock values.
• Keeps information flowing by attending departmental meetings.
• Keeps keys secure for access to restricted areas.
• Requests identification from anyone under 21 to enforce regulations.

Job description

Assists, if needed, with written reports regarding security-related incidents involving guests, employees and/or the property.

Escorts and observes guests and employees to ensure their safety and protection.

Identifies potential safety hazards and reports same to the appropriate individual for proper resolution.

Knows hazardous materials used on property and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing same.

Serves as dispatcher during emergency situations, as needed, and coordinates solutions.

Inform outside agencies of any unusual or suspicious situations on property.

Operates company vehicles as directed.

Ensures safe transportation of company monies and gaming tokens.

Assists in the opening and closing of gaming tables.

Ensures a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained throughout the property. Lives by the Hard Rock values.

Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.

Maintains a series of keys to access locked areas, as necessary.

Requests and accept identification from all people who appear to be under the age of 21 to ensure compliance with federal and state gaming regulations.
