Job summary

Hard Rock Biloxi is seeking a security team member to support incident reporting, escorting guests and employees, and hazard identification. The role ensures safe transport of monies and gaming tokens, and includes opening/closing gaming tables while upholding guest service standards.

Candidates should be able to work a flexible schedule, stand for long shifts, and communicate clearly with team members. High school diploma preferred; MS Gaming License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with written reports on security-related incidents involving guests, employees and/or the property.
• Escorts and observes guests and employees to ensure their safety and protection.
• Identifies potential safety hazards and reports for proper resolution.
• Operates company vehicles as directed.
• Ensures safe transportation of company monies and gaming tokens.
• Assists in the opening and closing of gaming tables.
• Maintains a high level of guest service and represents Hard Rock Biloxi.
• Attends regularly scheduled departmental meetings to facilitate information flow.
• Requests and accepts identification from all people under 21 to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assists, if needed, with written reports regarding security-related incidents involving guests, employees and/or the property.
• Escorts and observes guests and employees to ensure their safety and protection.
• Identifies potential safety hazards and reports same to the appropriate individual for proper resolution.
• Knows hazardous materials used on property and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing same.
• Serves as dispatcher during emergency situations, as needed, and coordinates solutions.
• Inform outside agencies of any unusual or suspicious situations on property.
• Operates company vehicles as directed.
• Ensures safe transportation of company monies and gaming tokens.
• Assists in the opening and closing of gaming tables.
• Ensures a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained throughout the property. Lives by the Hard Rock values.
• Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
• Maintains a series of keys to access locked areas, as necessary.
• Requests and accept identification from all people who appear to be under the age of 21 to ensure compliance with federal and state gaming regulations.
