Job summary

The Durst Organization is seeking a Security Manager to collaborate with the Director of Security to protect employees, tenants, and visitors across properties. The role oversees security supervisors and officers, conducts physical patrols, and helps manage responses to disasters.

Responsibilities include planning, policy development, staffing, incident response, and coordination with agencies to ensure safety and compliance.

• Demonstrate capability to handle complex situations and governance

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sr. Security Manager in setting goals and planning for the future
• Communicate physical and technical security strategies to employees
• Ensure appropriate staffing and scheduling for supervised areas
• Respond promptly to security breaches and incidents
• Collaborate with senior management on security policies and disciplinary matters
• Liaise with government agencies and law enforcement to ensure property safety
• Provide leadership and training to Security Guards
• Manage additional responsibilities within the security organization
• Support sustainability initiatives within The Durst Organization

15+ years security experience
