The Durst Organization is seeking a Security Officer to join the Legends team in New York. You will collaborate with Security Team Leaders to maintain a safe environment for employees, tenants, and visitors, executing integrated security measures and countermeasures while adapting to evolving priorities.

Qualified candidates should have a NYS Security Guard License, strong communication skills, and the ability to stand for long shifts; experience with x-ray screening is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess an in-force New York State Security Guard License (8 & 16 hours).
• NYC Fire Safety Certification preferred.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and perform essential duties.
• Strong verbal communication and safety mindset.
• Experience with security x-ray and screening procedures preferred.

Responsabilités

• Execute comprehensive and integrated security measures.
• Adapt physically to changing needs of the Security Department.
• Monitor access for employees, tenants and visitors.
• Post security assignments may vary and endure exposure to weather.
