Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC seeks an experienced security leader to oversee on-site vendor performance and coordinate with security teams across multiple data centers in the US.

You will develop and enforce SOPs, monitor incidents, lead investigations, and manage budgets and contracts. Travel ~10% nationwide to support operations and ensure safe, compliant data center environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of site/campus security management experience.
• Strong planning, organizational, and motivational skills.
• Experience drafting SOPs and reporting on security KPIs.
• Proven ability to present in formal and informal settings.
• Knowledge of safety, emergency procedures and regulatory interfaces.
• Admin experience with surveillance and access control systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct responsibility for on-site security vendor performance across data centers in the US.
• Develop and maintain SOPs to enforce standards and safety.
• Communicate incident updates to stakeholders, vendors, and clients.
• Lead investigations, reporting, and after-action work for incidents.
• Establish metrics to measure security team effectiveness.

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Direct responsibility for on-site security vendor performance interfacing with on-site security teams in multiple data centers across the USProvide guidance on corporate physical security programs to staff, vendors, and clients identifying gaps and recommending corrective actionsDevelop and maintain post orders and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure execution and enforcement of business conduct and integrity standards, employee safety and security, security investigations, crisis response, business continuity and security and government partnershipsRegularly communicate updates to internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients regarding incidents, emerging risks, and other matters that may impact data center operations, employees, vendors or clientsMonitor customer requests and ensure appropriate and timely response to tickets or incidents.Perform security and vulnerability assessmentsFunction as technical support for Security staffLead investigations, reporting, and after-action work in response to policy violations or criminal activities.Establish and monitor performance metrics to determine security team effectivenessAssist with security budget and contract managementDeliver training on security topics, assist in the coordination of security services to support planned and unplanned operations, and support incident investigation effortsTravel approximately 10 percent of the time in order to perform the above responsibilities at the multiple data center locations nationally, on-call availability 24x7Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for decisions effecting multiple sites within the data center fleetQUALIFICATIONS:5 + years of site/campus security management experiencePlanning, organizational, and motivational experienceProject and program implementation and management experienceExperience drafting SOPs in technical and non-technical formatsExperience reporting on physical security and site administrative KPIsExperience presenting in formal and informal settingsExperience with safety and emergency procedure protocols and regulatory interfacesKnowledge in physical security strategies, principles, standards, policies, and proceduresExperience as an administrator responsible for security technologies including Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems, Security Operations Centers
