Paycom - ATS is seeking a Security Manager for a manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, TX. You will lead and develop the site security team, oversee 24/7 operations, coordinate incident response, and partner with Operations, EHS, IT, HR, and local authorities to protect people, facilities and assets.

You will manage budgets, train guards/contract staff, and implement security programs, policies and SOPs to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Security, Compliance, and supervisory roles.
  • Experience managing security vendors, system integrators and alarm/CCTV contracts.
  • Ability to lead investigations and incident response with discretion.

Management Responsibilities:Lead and develop the site security team: train staff and contractors on security measures, oversee performance and coordinate disciplinary actions with HR and the guard company management.Manage 24/7 security operations and incident response: oversee shift coverage, direct escalation and investigations, and run emergency drills.Oversee security staff budget and vendor relationship: monitor vendor KPIs/SLA compliance. Oversee training for all Post Orders.Develop, implement and maintain a facility security program, policies and SOPsSummaryThe Security Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and managing all physical security, loss prevention, access control and emergency response activities for a manufacturing facility. This role will oversee day-to-day security operations, including direct management of a contract security company providing guard coverage for all posts (combined office and warehouse duties). The Security Manager partners with Operations, EHS, Facilities, IT/InfoSec, HR, Supply Chain and local authorities to protect people, facilities, assets and intellectual property while ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other Duties not listed may be assigned.Security Supervisor Responsibilities - % of Job – 90%Supervise/Oversee daily security team operations, ensuring efficient task completion.Develop, implement and maintain a facility security program, policies and SOPs (access control, CCTV, perimeter protection, visitor management, key/cylinder control, alarm monitoring and contractor/vendor access).Manage 24/7 security operations: shift coverage, on-call rotations, incident escalation, and oversight of daily guard activities.Lead incident response and investigations for theft, vandalism, workplace violence, trespass and other security events; prepare timely incident reports, root-cause analysis and lessons-learned.Manage security-related budgets and procurements within delegated financial limits; monitor vendor performance and invoice validation.Perform routine security assessments to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities, crafting strategies for risk reduction.Identify safety and security issues that require follow-up or investigation.Monitor surveillance and alarm systems, swiftly responding to security breaches or incidents.Educate and train security awareness to employees, contractors and contracted guards; maintain training records and competency tracking. Maintain security personnel training on protocols and emergency response plans.Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders during security emergencies.Regularly inspect security equipment (CCTV, access control, alarms) to ensure proper functioning and upkeep.Report equipment deficiencies and ensure repair orders are initiated.Prepare management reports regarding security operations and progress. Presents reports as needed for security tracking measures.Collaborate across departments, including the contracted security team and their management to integrate security measures into all operational facets, including events, facility management, and employee safety.Make observations and recommendations for improvement to the Senior Compliance ManagerStay abreast of evolving security trends, technologies, and regulations, providing recommendations for system and procedural enhancements.Ensures accurate and timely reporting data input where requiredOther duties as assigned.Team Leadership - % of Job – 10%Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment while supporting the company’s culture.Responsible for fostering a healthy and safe work environment, focusing on the well-being of all associates.Build and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communication at all levels.Maintains and strengthens internal, and external customer relationships.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related field is preferred.Minimum 5 years’ experience in Security Compliance, Law enforcement, and as supervisory role.Essential Skills:Requires ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.Requires ability to handle sensitive situations with tack and diplomacy.Physical fitness and ability to perform security duties, including standing, walking, patrolling, and responding to emergencies.Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.Must be skilled in MS suites.Must have strong verbal communication skills.Must be able to write clearly and concisely.Must have excellent interpersonal skills and get along with a variety of personalities and individuals.Required excellent organizational skills.Must be able to understand and follow instructions.Must have the ability to learn new applications.Requires good analytical skills.Must be detail oriented.Valid TX Driver’s LicenseCompetencies:Shows determination to achieve excellent resultsExperience with manufacturing security standards, export-control requirements and customer security protocolsExperience managing security vendors, system integrators and alarm/CCTV contracts.Demands top performanceInspires commitmentWorking ConditionsOffice and outside environmental conditions found in the warehouse, hot in the summer, cold in the winter.
