Job summary

AlixPartners in the United States is seeking an Information Security Lead – AI & Emerging Technology to join our Information Security team and help embed security into DevOps and cloud practices. This contract role reports to the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer and focuses on Azure/AWS security and secure-by-design cloud architectures.

The ideal candidate has hands-on cloud security engineering experience and strong communication skills, with a focus on automating security in DevOps

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience in cloud security engineering or a DevSecOps focused role.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure Policy, and related cloud governance tooling.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
• Experience deploying and securing PaaS environments and cloud-native services.

Responsibilities

• Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security throughout the CI/CD pipeline and IaC deployments.
• Design, implement, and maintain Azure Policies and guardrails for continuous compliance and drift detection.
• Develop secure cloud configurations and architectures across Azure and AWS with secure networking and identity patterns.
• Contribute to threat modeling and defensible architecture.
• Collaborate to implement AI-specific security controls and align with policy and compliance goals.
• Support detection and response teams with cloud and DevOps security insights.
