Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an on-site Installer to set up and program Security, Access Controls and CCTV systems at customer sites in Wisconsin. You will dismantle and reconstruct equipment as required, ensuring safe operation and clean work areas.

Responsibilities

• Installs devices and dismantles/reconstructs equipment as required.
• Performs installations safely and cleans up debris after work.

The Installer also dismantles and reconstructs equipment when necessary. **How you will do it** * Installs appropriate devices; dismantles and reconstructs equipment as required by customers.* Works safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris.* Contacts customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule.* Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.* Tests operation of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.* Reads building and electrical blueprints as required.* Coordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.* May manage installation teams on larger projects.* Coach and mentor less experienced installers. **What we look for*****Required**** Able to obtain and obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.* Some technical school training is a plus.* 3-5 years of electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.* Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals.* Ability to operate hand and power tools.* Ability to operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner at all times.* Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service. HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $22.64 - 31.15 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
