Johnson Controls is hiring an Installer to work onsite with customers, setting up and programming Security, Access Controls and CCTV systems. The role includes dismantling and reconstructing equipment as needed and ensuring safe, clean work practices.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in electrical/electronic equipment, be able to read blueprints, operate hand/power tools, and communicate effectively with customers. Training and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifikationen

• Licenses required or obtained per National, State and Local codes.
• Some technical school training is a plus.
• 3–5 years of electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, program schematics and manuals.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate fleet vehicle safely at all times.
• Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service.

What You Will Do

As a critical part of the team, the Installer works onsite with our customers to set up and program their Security, Access Controls and CCTV. The Installer also dismantles and reconstructs equipment when necessary.

How You Will Do It

• Installs appropriate devices; dismantles and reconstructs equipment as required by customers.
• Works safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris.
• Contacts customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule.
• Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.
• Tests operation of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.
• Reads building and electrical blueprints as required.
• Coordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.
• May manage installation teams on larger projects.
• Coach and mentor less experienced installers.

Required

What we look for

• Able to obtain and obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.
• Some technical school training is a plus.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $22.64 - 31.15 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
