Job summary

Johnson Controls in Roswell, GA is hiring a Fire Installer to support installation of electronic fire alarm and security systems. Qualifications

• 1 year of Fire Alarm and/or Security System experience.

• Follow verbal and written instructions, read and understand complex construction blueprints and specifications used in installation activities.
• Construction experience required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Successful completion of drug screen and background check.
• Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
• Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
• Experience in an electrical trade preferred.
• Low voltage experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of electronic systems, including startup through final testing.
• Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and dispose of trash.
• Work in unusual positions, ladders, scaffolding, high lift up to 40 ft.
• Submit required paperwork daily.
