Job summary

Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection on Alabama’s Gulf Coast, seeks a Loss Prevention Officer to safeguard property, guests, and staff. You will patrol, monitor surveillance, and maintain a visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include access control, incident reporting, developing response protocols, and working with emergency services to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Surveillance & Security: Use security cameras to monitor the property, detect threats, and prevent breaches.
• Risk Assessments: Conduct safety audits to identify hazards and maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
• Collaboration with Emergency Services: Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders to improve response.
• Incident Reporting: Operate a digital incident system to document hazards, breaches, or suspicious activity.
• Visible Security Presence: Maintain a consistent security presence across the property and assist guests.
• Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly, safe manner.
• Access Control: Manage access controls to safeguard restricted areas.
• Incident Response Protocols: Develop and communicate protocols to empower staff in critical situations.
