Job summary

Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection seeks a Loss Prevention Officer to protect guests, staff and property on Alabama's Gulf Coast. You will patrol, monitor cameras, control access and coordinate with emergency services to handle incidents.

You will engage with guests to provide a safe, welcoming experience while maintaining a strong security presence and following established response protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel security or loss prevention preferred.
• Ability to operate surveillance systems and report incidents.

Responsibilities

• Surveillance & Security: Monitor property with cameras and prevent breaches.
• Risk Assessments: Conduct safety audits and address hazards.
• Collaboration with Emergency Services: Coordinate with local police and emergency responders.
• Incident Reporting: Use digital system to document hazards and breaches.
• Visible Security Presence: Maintain proactive security across the property and assist guests.
• Guest Interaction: Engage with guests with friendliness while staying vigilant.
• Access Control: Manage access to restricted areas.
• Incident Response Protocols: Develop and communicate response procedures for security incidents.
